Ways to Register
Captains
Are you a captain planning a full team or a corporate team? Perfect! Captains will register themselves first then invite their teammates to register/join their team!
Small Groups
If you wish to register a small group (2-10 players), no problem! We'll join your group with another small group to make a full team! The small group leader will register first then invite their friends to sign-up to their group.
Team Players
If your captain or small group leader has already registered your team/group, you'll select the team/group name from the dropdown during your registration and you will be added to that team/group!
📋 Free Agents
Going solo? Great! If you're a free agent we'll add you to an existing fun team! There are always teams looking for a few more players to complete their roster!
Corporate Teams
If you're a corporate team that wants to pay for a full team upfront, contact us directly and we can get you setup! A corporate team is an excellent networking and team-building activity within an organization!

Our fields are centrally located in the Greater Hartford area – typically in Hartford or Newington (only 10 minutes from West Hartford!)
Coolers and drinks are permitted on our outdoor fields unlike many other leagues! (note: our ourdoor fields are also pet-friendly and we rarely cancel due to rain or wet fields!)

The "Spark" Story
Hey there, my name is Chad and I’m the founder of Spark Social Sports! I thought I would share my story on how/why I founded Spark Social Sports.
After college I was living and working in the Hartford area, and it seemed there was never anything fun to do (do you relate??). Then a college friend invited me on to her kickball team. I quickly realized, wow this fun, and even more incredible was the people I met playing!
I eventually became more involved with the league and ended up running the kickball leagues in Hartford and overseeing all the leagues across CT! What started as 1 kickball league with about 200 people grew to over 10,000 people and 10 different social sports in about 7 years!
Along my journey I met so many good friends, traveled all around the country playing kickball (believe it or not that’s actually a thing), and even met my wife!
In 2018, I stepped down from running the kickball leagues as we started a family and I focused on my full-time job (yes, I somehow had a full-time job through all that!)
But let’s fast-forward to today: The kids are out of diapers, I am sleeping at night, and wanted to get back on the field by starting a social sports company with a simple mission – to have fun, be active, and create a platform for new connections. Hence the name “Spark” – just like my story, my wife’s story, and countless others who met their significant others or friends playing social sports. You never know who you will meet.
